A Chinese sedan Chery Arrizo 8 has appeared in the vehicle fleet of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia. The car with special signals and in the color scheme of the ministry was filmed in Moscow.
Experts in the automotive industry believe that the car could well have been purchased to replace the Toyota Camry.
As a reminder, a shortage of business-class sedans has arisen in Russia after most foreign automakers left. Previously, in addition to the Camry, you could choose from Kia K5, Hyundai Sonata, Volkswagen Passat, Mercedes-Benz E-Class and BMW 5 Series, but now there is practically nothing to choose from.
One of the options was the Chery Arrrizo 8 business sedan, the official premiere of which in Russia took place in June 2023. The car is sold in three trim levels — Prestige, Ultimate, Ultimate SE. The price starts from 2 million 950 thousand.
