Belarusian engineers at the "Domanovo" training ground (174th training ground of the Air Force and Air Defense Forces in the Brest region) conducted live firing tests of experimental samples of the IVC-122RL radar air target simulator. This was reported by the State Military-Industrial Committee of Belarus.
IVC-122RL simulates an air target for SAM systems with a guided missile guidance system in conditions close to combat. The product is a Belarusian development with a high degree of component localization.
IVC-122RL is designed for training SAM system crews:
- «Osa-AKM»,
- «Tor»
- «Pantsir»
- «Buk»
The press service of the State Military-Industrial Committee emphasized that IVC-122RL is reliable, easy to manufacture and inexpensive. The tests confirmed all the technical characteristics declared by the developers.
Earlier, Lukashenko signed a decree that prohibits Belarusians from importing, storing and operating drones. The ban does not apply to companies and entrepreneurs working in the UAV sector.
