«Города трудовой доблести»: в России появилась новая серия памятных монет с Самарой, Саратовом, Томском, Пермью

The Central Bank Released the Coins into Circulation on May 2

On May 2, the Central Bank released into circulation commemorative coins of the "Cities of Labor Valor" series made of base metals with a face value of 10 rubles. The reverse side of the 22 mm diameter coins depicts the sights of Perm, Samara, Saratov, and Tomsk, the regulator's press service reported.

The obverse side of the coins features the standard design elements: the Moscow Mint and Bank of Russia logos, as well as the year of issue. The reverse of the "Perm" coin depicts the monument "To the Heroes of the Front and Rear." The "Samara" coin is decorated with an image of the "Monument of Glory" memorial complex.

The monument "To the Woman and Teenager Who Forged Victory in the Rear" is minted on the "Tomsk" coins. The "Saratov" coins feature a relief image of the monument "To the Heroes of the Front and Rear." Each of the coins was issued in a circulation of 1 million and is legal tender in Russia.

Earlier, Sberbank issued a silver coin with a dragon — the symbol of 2024.
