Russian Industrial Enterprises to Receive Compensation for Part of the Costs of Implementing Domestic Software

The Ministry of Industry and Trade will allocate 1.5 billion rubles in 2024

Russia intends to transfer manufacturing enterprises to domestic software (SW) and components for computers in order to manage complex development and production processes of high-tech products. The Ministry of Industry and Trade will compensate them for part of the costs, allocating 1.5 billion rubles for these purposes in 2024.

This concerns the so-called heavy industrial and engineering software, as well as hardware and software complexes (HSC). The subsidy program will start in the summer of 2024 and is designed to run until 2030.

Conditions for receiving a subsidy

  • direction — manufacturing industry
  • implementation of software products and HSCs included in the register of the Ministry of Industry and Trade in the project
  • project implementation period — no more than 3 years
  • receiving a subsidy for previously launched projects, if the transition to Russian software was paid for at the expense of the enterprise
