Internet fraudsters are always on the alert: scammers have come up with a new fraud scheme using Roskachestvo

Attackers have become active again on the Internet before the May holidays

On the eve of Victory Day, Internet fraudsters have invented a new смеху for extorting money. Veterans have become the target of virtual robbers. Elderly people are offered special payments allegedly from Roskachestvo.

The criminal scheme was identified by employees of F.A.C.C.T, a cybersecurity company. The scammers created fake websites with the Roskachestvo logo.

The fraudulent scheme was that veterans were promised payments from 50 thousand to 300 thousand rubles. But to get into the "unified register", the victim was offered to pay for the services of lawyers for "support". Then the user had to enter their details on the website and transfer funds to the attackers. It is known that phishing sites have been successfully blocked.

Sergey Kuzmenko, Head of the Digital Expertise Center of Roskachestvo, said that similar schemes have been used for a long time. They create clone sites of various organizations that Russians trust.

In order not to fall for them, you need to follow simple rules - do not trust the information posted on the information platform, and also check it on official resources. Therefore, find out about any due payments in the relevant institutions and do not enter bank card details on dubious sites
