Serbia boasts Russian Krasukha-2 and Krasukha-4 REB systems

The development of VNII Gradient suppresses radars of enemy aircraft and UAVs

The Serbian Armed Forces at the "Strength of Unity" military parade in Belgrade demonstrated the Krasukha-2 and Krasukha-4 electronic warfare (EW) systems recently acquired from Russia. This was reported by the Western publication Defence blog.

The demonstration of "Krasukha-2" at the parade is the first confirmation from the Serbian authorities of receiving EW systems from Russia, despite Western sanctions.

Information about the systems is classified. According to some estimates, the effective range of "Krasukha-2" is 400-800 km, and "Krasukha-4" is 150-300 km.

The "Krasukha" line systems are used by separate electronic warfare brigades of the Russian Armed Forces. Their goal is to neutralize airborne radar stations, including those installed on aircraft, drones, creating powerful interference in a wide range of frequencies.

About the EW complex "Krasukha"

The electronic warfare system was developed by specialists from VNII "Gradient" and the "Kvant" plant (part of the KRET concern). "Krasukha-2" is made on analog equipment, "Krasukha-4" is made on digital equipment.

The complexes are produced at the Bryansk Electromechanical Plant. They have been in operation since 2012.
