The Russian Ministry of Defense has shown rare footage of the combat operation of a gas turbine T-80BVM tank equipped with the most advanced TMT-K track mine roller. Using the seven-ton product, the crew confidently passes echeloned minefields.

Also, the TMT-K ensures the destruction of anti-bottom, anti-track, and anti-hull mines with non-contact magnetic, seismic, and optoelectronic, as well as pin-type contact detonators.

At the same time, the gunner carries out fire destruction of fortification hubs and firing positions of ATGMs, as well as enemy tanks, working both from closed positions and semi-direct, as well as direct fire using a multi-channel sight.

To protect against anti-tank missiles and kamikaze drones, the T-80BVM is equipped with a developed all-aspect anti-cumulative "barbecue".

The T-80 tank is the only Russian tank with a gas turbine engine. The vehicle was adopted in 1976. In the West, the tank was nicknamed "flying" for its famous acceleration to 80 km/h.
