ODK-Saturn (part of Rostec's United Engine Corporation) showcased elements of the PD-8 engine at the Industry Week in Yaroslavl. The exhibition demonstrates complex parts of the power plant for the short-haul Superjet and the Be-200 amphibious aircraft.

Among the exhibits is a sector of the low-pressure turbine nozzle guide vane. The castings have an equiaxed structure, with wall and edge thickness reaching 0.4 mm. The use of domestic materials increased the quality of the products by 20%. The second exhibit is a wide-chord fan blade weighing 3 kg, 44.4 cm long and 22 cm wide.

The blades are made of titanium alloy using isothermal forging. A hydraulic press develops a force of 4000 tons at temperatures up to 930°C, which allows obtaining a steeply curved profile with an allowance of 0.3 mm. The exhibition in Yaroslavl will last until October 11.
