PAO "Tupolev" received a new permit from Glavgosexpertiza for the expansion of the Kazan Aviation Plant. On September 23, the project for the third building of the logistics center was registered in the Unified State Register of Expert Opinions.

The total area of three such facilities on the territory of KAZ will be about 90 thousand m² . They are intended to provide the enterprise with metal and components for the serial production of aircraft.

In February, United Aircraft Corporation (OAK), GTLK and S7 Group signed a memorandum on the supply of 100 Tu-214 aircraft, starting from 2029.

The Head of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, noted that KAZ will focus on the production of new modern airliners. KAZ builds Tu-214 in the civilian sector, and there are plans to increase production to 20 units per year.
