Rosaviatsiya reissued approval documents for aircraft, consolidating four previous type certificates for all modifications of "Tupolev" company aircraft. This was reported by the OAK press service.

The consolidated type certificate will optimize aircraft operating costs, improve the quality of training for flight and cabin crews, as well as ground maintenance personnel.

The consolidated certificate will also allow "Tupolev" specialists, as the developer, to implement identical materials and structural elements certified within one modification on Tu-204/214 family aircraft.

The document will also help improve aircraft maintenance, because spare parts, tools, and maintenance procedures become common for all models of the family and for repairs for carriers.

Also, earlier, "Tupolev" converted internal documentation to digital format. Aviation expert Roman Gusarov explained why this is necessary to increase aircraft production.

In connection with plans for serial production of the Tu-214, flight tests of the airliners resumed. Recently, two aircraft with PS-90A engines were spotted in the sky over Syktyvkar.
