In Kazan, on April 7, a tender was announced for the construction of a radio-technical measurement facility for PJSC "Tupolev". The initial contract price is 1.65 billion rubles.
The project was developed as part of the program for the development of the defense industry and armaments for 2018–2027. The facility will be built at the Kazan Aviation Plant.
According to the published terms of reference, the contractor will perform a full range of works, including earthworks and foundation works, and will lay engineering communications. A key element is the construction of an anechoic shielded chamber.
The deadline for the completion of the object is no later than April 30, 2027.
"Tupolev" is a manufacturer of Tu-160 "White Swan" strategic missile carriers, a key enterprise of the strategic aviation division of the UAC. Recently, the company was headed by a new leader without experience in design work.
Also, PJSC for the first time transferred internal documentation to digital format. Aviation expert Roman Gusarov, using the example of the Voronezh Aviation Plant with the Il-96, explained to "Pervyi Tekhnicheskiy" how exactly this is necessary to increase aircraft production.
