The company "Promyshlenny Obogrev" (part of GC "SST") and PKB "Petrobalt" have developed an electric heating system for bottom-side valves and pipelines (protects against icing, prevents corrosion) for the cargo-passenger ferry "Petropavlovsk" of project CNF22, which is being built at the "Zaliv" shipyard in Kerch. This was reported by the press service of GC "SST".

The ferry was laid down in March 2020 for the needs of Rosmorrechflot. After the cessation of supplies of foreign ship systems due to sanctions, Kerch shipbuilders had to switch to domestically produced equipment. The company "Promyshlenny Obogrev" supplied a heating system based on Russian-made self-regulating cable.

Characteristics of the CNF22 project ferry:

• Length — 119.9 m
• Width — 17.91 m
• Side height — 7.5 m
• Draft — 4.5 m
• Main engine power — 2x3500 kW
• Passenger capacity — up to 150 people.

The CNF22 project belongs to OOO "Morskoye Inzhenernoye Byuro". The vessel will be able to carry up to 28 trucks or 78 passenger cars. "Petropavlovsk" is planned to be handed over to the customer by the end of 2026. It will be operated on lines connecting the ports of Kamchatka, Sakhalin, Primorye, and Magadan Oblast.
