A robotic welding complex based on the DOKA RC10 collaborative robot was presented at the "Vremya Pervykh" professional skills championship. Engineers set up the equipment, programmed the movement trajectory, and controlled the welding quality.

According to test data, the productivity of one workplace with such a robot increased by 57%, equipment utilization increased to 90%, part manufacturing times were reduced threefold, and the volume of defects decreased to almost zero. The robot provides perfectly even and stable welds, high accuracy, and can operate around the clock without days off or breaks.

The complex consists of a six-axis Russian-made cobot manipulator and Kedr welding equipment. It can be quickly moved and deployed in any production environment – from a small workshop to a large factory.

The robot is capable of more than just welding: by changing the technological tooling, it can be adapted for moving parts, applying materials, quality control, and other operations. Following the test results, AO "BET" holding decided to launch an investment project and equip existing production facilities with such complexes.

The implementation of robotic welding complexes in Russian production facilities is gaining momentum. The DST-Ural plant increased production speed by 60% by integrating 24 robotic complexes into welding operations and assembly of equipment units, while the defect rate decreased to 1.8%. The Bryansk Machine-Building Plant, after launching a hybrid laser-arc welding complex, increased productivity by 2.7 times, and the manufacturing time for a set of bogie frame beams decreased from 17 to 4.5 hours.
