The Promobot Center for the Development of Industrial Robotics has introduced the Promobot M13 robot. The new product was created with the assistance of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia. The six-axis manipulator is designed to automate routine processes in small and medium-sized enterprises.
The robot is safe for collaborative work with humans and does not require protective fences. It is capable of performing tasks such as packaging, welding, assembly and moving goods weighing up to 13 kilograms. The speed of Promobot M13 is 1 m/s, the repeatability error does not exceed 0.05 millimeters - this allows you to perform operations with high accuracy. Configuration for a new operation takes only a few hours thanks to special software.
The development is focused on making industrial automation accessible not only to large machine-building giants, but also to small enterprises in the food industry, instrument engineering and metalworking, the manufacturer says.
