IzhAvia airline has filed a lawsuit with the Moscow Arbitration Court demanding the cancellation of Rosaviatsia's order to annul its operator's certificate and a temporary suspension of this decision. The carrier believes that the regulator made the decision in violation of the procedure, and all identified deficiencies were eliminated even before the order was issued.

The reason for the legal dispute was Rosaviatsia's decision to terminate IzhAvia's operator's certificate. Earlier, the agency restricted the document's validity after an inspection of the airline's activities, during which deficiencies were identified in the flight safety management system and aircraft maintenance.

According to the airline, the inspection was completed without the opportunity to fully present its arguments. IzhAvia indicates that the inspection report was received by the carrier on July 29, and just a few hours later, the order to annul the certificate was signed. The company believes that the decision was made before its position was considered and without taking into account the submitted documents.

The carrier claims that it eliminated the violations before the final decision was made. In particular, the company reported adjusting internal documents, updating flight operations and aerodrome manuals, strengthening the safety control system, and implementing additional risk management tools.

In parallel, the Volga Territorial Organization of Aviation Workers' Union spoke out in defense of the airline. They stated the risk of losing the human resources potential of the enterprise, where more than 900 aviation industry specialists work, and called for considering the social consequences of the decision.
