OSK to launch large-tonnage ocean-going vessels not built before

In 2025, 50 ships and vessels of various classes were built in the Russian Federation

The United Shipbuilding Corporation (OSK) has started building new large-tonnage vessels. This was announced by the company's CEO, Andrey Puchkov.

According to him, a new shipbuilding complex will be built in St. Petersburg specifically for this project.

Puchkov added that the Corporation has already achieved significant results, reaching record rates of order fulfillment for the first time in decades.

In 2025, about 50 ships and vessels of various classes were delivered. In total, 110 ships and vessels have been handed over to customers in three years.

Earlier, industry experts estimated that the construction of new ships in Russia costs three times more than in China.
