The United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC) has announced plans to build a new shipyard on the basis of the existing "Severnaya Verf". This was announced by the General Director of the corporation, Andrey Puchkov.
We are currently designing a new shipyard on the basis of "Severnaya Verf". I think that such projects do not happen often in the world, and for our country in the last, probably, 100 years, this is definitely a unique story. Not only are we going to build a modern enterprise, but we are also going to build it on the basis of an existing one, while not stopping the production of products. A very difficult task
The design of the new shipyard will begin in late 2025 - early 2026.
The new "Severnaya Verf" and the Far Eastern (shipyard), as we believe, will become the framework from which we will begin to reform the industry.
