AvtoVAZ has instructed dealers to conduct several service campaigns for already sold Lada Iskra cars. During the first visit, owners will receive a free check of the suspension, interior elements and fasteners, as well as an update of the software for electronic units.
Instruction No. 72-25 requires checking the fastening of the front suspension arm to the subframe. Diagnostics will help identify deviations from established norms and prevent play and extraneous noises in the chassis.
According to instruction No. 73-25, specialists will inspect the central air duct nozzles and replace them if necessary. On station wagons and cross-station wagons, the tailgate buffer will also be replaced to ensure the fifth door closes more smoothly.
Another procedure concerns the fastening of the floor tunnel. The check should help prevent squeaks and vibrations of plastic parts in the cabin.
A separate instruction No. 95-25 provides for updating the software of the car's electronic units.
