The Russian line of special equipment has been supplemented with a new tank truck for transporting light petroleum products with a volume of 17 cubic meters. The vehicle was built on the modern KAMAZ-65658 K5 generation chassis. The project was implemented by the official dealer of PAO "KAMAZ" – "MB Trucks SPb" together with the KAPRI factory.
The new model received an aluminum tank, made according to the "suitcase" scheme. Inside, the tank is divided into four independent sections with volumes of 5, 3.5, 4, and 4.5 cubic meters. This solution allows simultaneous transportation of several types of light petroleum products, maintaining the correct load distribution between the vehicle's axles.
The superstructure is made of aluminum alloy 5182 with a thickness of 5.27 mm. For unloading, a gravity drain system is provided through DU 80 ball valves, as well as drain hoses with quick-release fittings, which speeds up technological operations.
The special vehicle is based on the KAMAZ-65658 K5 generation chassis with an inline six-cylinder KAMAZ 689.510-00 engine with a power of 390 hp. A robotic gearbox works in conjunction with it. The vehicle is equipped with a low K5 cabin on a four-point spring suspension, a modern on-board information system, improved workplace ergonomics, and one sleeping place.
The new development is aimed at companies operating in the field of fuel transportation, where high cargo efficiency, modern design, and the ability to transport several types of petroleum products in one trip are in demand.
