KAMAZ-Mustang Becomes the Basis for New Indonesian Military Truck P5 Boma

Indonesian company PT Sentra Surya Ekajaya, known for developing armored vehicles, has unveiled a new tactical truck, the P5 Boma. The vehicle is based on the Russian KAMAZ-Mustang platform, which has proven itself well in harsh road and climatic conditions.

The introduction of the P5 Boma complements the manufacturer's military vehicle lineup, which already includes the P2-KM, P2 Commando VVIP, P2 Tiger APC, P4 Boxer APC, and P6 ATAV models.

The new vehicle is based on the Russian KamAZ-6350 – an all-wheel-drive, high-mobility military truck from the "Mustang" family, produced by the Kama Automobile Plant since 2003.

The model has an 8×8 wheel formula and is designed for off-road operation, as well as in regions with severe climates. Along with the KamAZ-4350 (4×4) and KamAZ-5350 (6×6), it is part of the "Mustang" family, which is widely used for creating various types of military and special equipment.
