Evrakom Showcased an Extended Armored KamAZ Truck with Br3 Capsule Protection

The 10-ton capacity vehicle was equipped with a hydraulic liftgate for accelerated operations

In Balashikha, a new heavy armored cargo truck was presented, created by the company "Evrakom" based on the KamAZ-65115 A5 6x4 chassis. The vehicle is designed for transporting goods and crew in high-risk conditions and combines the functions of special transport and a protected logistics platform.

The design is made according to the hidden capsule armor scheme of Br3 class. This protection is designed to withstand 9×19 mm pistol ammunition, including the Pst bullet cartridge used in the Yarygin pistol. The roof, floor, as well as the battery compartment and fuel tank areas are additionally reinforced, which increases the overall survivability of the vehicle in case of damage.

The overall architecture has been redesigned by extending the frame by 1.5 meters. This allowed the internal length of the cargo compartment to be brought to 9.5 meters while maintaining a payload capacity of 10 tons. The cabin and body can accommodate up to six crew members. For accelerated loading and unloading, a hydraulic liftgate designed to lift up to 1.5 tons has been installed.

The finished vehicle has received Vehicle Type Approval and is undergoing electronic passport registration. The solution is aimed at protected cargo transportation in areas with potential threats, where capacity, range, and level of protection are important.
