KAMAZ unveils powerful fuel tanker: 483 hp, all-wheel drive, and a 22-cubic-meter tank

KAMAZ, in collaboration with NPO "Transmaster" plant, has launched a new heavy fuel tanker for the Russian market. It is based on the KAMAZ-65959 K5 generation chassis with a 6×6 wheel arrangement. The vehicle, with a 22-cubic-meter tank and a payload capacity of over 18 tons, is designed for autonomous fuel delivery to remote industrial facilities and operation in challenging off-road conditions.

The vehicle is built on the K5 generation chassis, featuring an inline six-cylinder KAMAZ R6 engine with 483 horsepower. The maximum torque is 2403 N·m, and the engine is paired with a 16-speed manual transmission designed for high-load operation.

The vehicle is equipped with a modern K5 cabin, mounted on a four-point spring suspension. Features include an onboard information system and improved driver's workplace ergonomics.

The fuel tank is designed in a "suitcase" configuration, has a total volume of 22 cubic meters, and is divided into three independent sections of 5, 10, and 7 cubic meters. This layout allows for the simultaneous transportation of different types of fuel or more flexible organization of its distribution at facilities.
