The B-200 unmanned helicopter has entered the flight design testing phase. The completion of the testing program is scheduled for the third quarter of this year. The apparatus is being developed by "IKAR-Engineering", a company within the "Aeromax" group.
The new helicopter is an evolution of the SH-750 cargo platform, but it received its own autonomous control system, created by Russian engineers. Thanks to this, the operator will be able to perform flight missions in a fully automatic mode, essentially limited to launching the mission.
According to the stated characteristics, the B-200 is capable of carrying up to 200 kg of payload over a distance of up to 300 km. The machine is designed for logistics operations in hard-to-reach areas, as well as for flights beyond the operator's direct line of sight.
One of the design features is the ability to place cargo not only on an external sling, but also inside the fuselage, which allows maintaining the stated flight characteristics when performing transport tasks.
Earlier, "Pervyy Tekhnicheskiy" reported when the new B-200 unmanned helicopter will be put into operation. The first three units have already been contracted, and the model has greatly interested foreign buyers.
