The assembly of the Exlantix ET hybrid crossover has begun in Russia, which led to a reduction in its final cost to 5.865 million rubles. Production of the model was established at the former Hyundai plant in St. Petersburg, and localization allowed for the application of a state subsidy, making the car significantly cheaper than the imported version.
This refers to the renamed modification for the Russian market, previously known as Exeed Exlantix ET. After transitioning to the Esteo brand and launching local assembly, the recommended price remained at 6.99 million rubles, but a set of discounts and state support changed the final cost.
The main factor in the price reduction was a subsidy of 925 thousand rubles when purchased on credit. At the same time, the trade-in program was adjusted: the discount was reduced from 500 to 200 thousand rubles. As a result, the final price was 625 thousand rubles lower than that of the imported version.
The technical part of the crossover remained unchanged. The model is equipped with a hybrid power plant with two electric motors with a total output of 469 hp. Acceleration to 100 km/h takes 4.8 seconds, and the range reaches 1180 km, of which up to 180 km is possible in all-electric mode.
The car belongs to large five-seater SUVs, almost 5 meters long with a wheelbase of 3 meters. The equipment includes air suspension, adjustable shock absorbers, a head-up display, a digital instrument panel, and a multimedia system with a 15.6-inch screen. An extended set of winter options and an audio system with 23 speakers are also announced.
Earlier, "Pervy Tekhnichesky" reported that another large Chinese-made crossover with local assembly is entering the Russian market. The first Esteo MX unit has already been registered with the Russian State Traffic Inspectorate.
