Russia is ready to supply India with new fifth-generation Su-57 fighters. This intention was confirmed by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

According to him, the countries have good relations in military-technical cooperation. India is already purchasing aircraft and helicopters from Russia.

The Su-57 is a good modern machine. We offered our Indian friends to start this work together, but it didn't work out then. We did it ourselves. Now, please, we are ready to supply it.

India has been discussing with Russia for almost two years the possible acquisition of Su-57 fighters, as well as local production on its territory. However, the Indian side first wants to see a report on the cost of such a project.

Meanwhile, the Indian Ministry of Defence sent a request to France for the acquisition of 114 Rafale fighters. "Pervyy Tekhnicheskiy" conducted a direct comparison of the Su-57 with this combat vehicle and identified the winner.
