At the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, AvtoVAZ presented an updated version of the Niva Legend SUV, according to a correspondent from "Pervy Tekhnichesky". The model, produced since 2021 under the name Legend (formerly Niva Bronto), has received a number of external and internal changes.
At the front, the car was equipped with a new bumper with enlarged air intakes and round fog lights. The radiator grille became smaller, and ventilation holes appeared on the hood. A new bumper was installed at the rear, and the taillights are now fully LED.
The interior of the SUV has also been updated: a new instrument panel with an on-board computer screen appeared, the climate control system received a redesigned "cut" of deflectors and a new control unit. The steering wheel became different, and the driver's seat gained height adjustment.
It is noted that the trunk volume of the Niva Legend has increased with the spare tire removed - now it can fit a "suitcase-carrier". You can also order a "beach package" with seat covers that cover the fabric upholstery and are not afraid of sand and moisture.
The technical stuffing, according to preliminary data, remained the same. The Niva Legend is equipped with a 1.7-liter engine with 83 horsepower, which works in conjunction with a 5-speed manual gearbox and a switchable all-wheel drive system. The gearbox and transfer case received new drive cables that eliminate lever vibration.
Older versions of the Niva Legend were equipped with power steering, ABS, electric drive and heated mirrors, front power windows, and central locking.
