Yandex released AI pendant before Apple: "Alice AI" became a portable guide in Moscow museums

In photo zones, the device can bring photos to life

Yandex slightly outpaced Apple in the wearable artificial intelligence race. Especially for the "Night at the Museum" event in Moscow, the company released a limited batch of AI pendants, providing instant access to "Alice AI" with a simple tap of a smartphone.

The pendant is not packed with expensive cameras and chips, but uses an NFC tag, allowing any museum visitor to launch a chat with the assistant on their smartphone, avoiding the hassle of QR codes.

"Alice AI" acted as a personal guide, capable not only of telling about an exhibit but also creatively reinterpreting it. In museum photo zones, the neural network transformed visitors' photos into ancient statues in real time.

Apple is rumored to be developing an AI pendant with a camera for analyzing the environment via Siri and Visual Intelligence, tied to the iPhone. The estimated release is no earlier than 2027.
