The management of the Chebarkul enterprise "Uralskaya Kuznitsa" has transferred some employees to downtime. The new work schedule is related to the volume of orders and capacity utilization.
The Uralkuz press service explained that changes to the schedule are periodically introduced for personnel in different production areas in accordance with the volume of orders and capacity utilization.
The number of personnel sent on downtime changes daily, and currently 7.5% of personnel are on downtime. Some of the unclaimed personnel are redirected to other enterprises of the "Mechel" group if they wish.
Uralkuz is the largest manufacturer in Russia of stamped products from special steels and alloys for all engineering industries.
