The assets of the Ufa Shipyard will be auctioned off due to debts. This decision was made by the Arbitration Court of Bashkiria in response to a claim by the investment company "Regional Fund."
The initial price of the assets will be 370 million rubles. In 2020, the plant took a loan of 229.5 million rubles from the fund, but could not return it. By May 2024, the debt reached 266.9 million rubles, including interest.
About 40 buildings, more than 140 units of equipment, including barges and vessels, as well as the right to lease land with an area of 20 hectares in the Zaton area of Ufa, were pledged.
The enterprise, owned by the "Bashkir River Shipping Company", did not deny the debt, but asked the court to revise the payment schedule. Representatives of the judiciary satisfied the creditor's requirements and ordered the sale of the pledged property at the collateral value.
