A crane plant in Naberezhnye Chelny has gone under with debts totaling tens of millions of rubles

The enterprise has found itself on the verge of closure; it is being handled by the Federal Tax Service

The Naberezhnye Chelny crane plant has found itself on the verge of closure. The Arbitration Court of Tatarstan has introduced a supervision procedure for OOO "NChKZ" due to multimillion-ruble debt to the tax service.

The court found the FTS claims justified and included them in the register of creditors. The total amount of claims exceeded 21 million rubles.

Of this amount, 5.4 million rubles is the principal second-priority debt, while another 15.8 million rubles is third-priority debt, penalties, and fines. The next hearing in the bankruptcy case is scheduled for April 14, 2026.

Recall that the tax authority filed the claim to declare the plant insolvent back in the spring of last year. At that time, the amount of claims stood at 15.8 million rubles.

The crane plant produced double-girder and single-girder overhead cranes, gantry cranes, and jib cranes for operation both in open storage yards and in workshops.

A day earlier, the property of the Miass Machine-Building Plant was put up for auction for 2.6 billion rubles. The enterprise was declared bankrupt.
