The A. Lulki Design Bureau is awaiting the development of anti-gravity engines for fighters

Designer Marchukov: in the future, installations operating on the interaction of fields may appear

The service life of modern aircraft engines for combat aircraft is 50 years. However, in the future, power plants developed on other physical principles are likely to appear, said Evgeny Marchukov, General Designer of the A. Lulki Design Bureau (part of the UEC).

According to him, it is already necessary to look into the future and think about promising engines.

Anti-gravity engines will appear next. With a different principle of movement - not reactive, but with the interaction of fields. They will definitely be, some Einstein will appear - he will predict.

Marchukov added that the creation of a controlled thrust vector for engines can be credited to domestic engineers, but it is not limited to this.

It is important to ensure stable operation of the low-pressure compressor and the entire engine. Believe me, this is not the easiest task. Perhaps, therefore, I assume that our foreign colleagues do not have such pirouettes on airplanes. It's not that simple, but we succeeded, and we will continue to develop this technology.
Evgeny Marchukov, General Designer of the A. Lulki Design Bureau

It should be noted that the most modern aircraft engine for fighters in Russia is "Product 30", it is also called the "second stage" engine. It provides combat vehicles with a thrust-to-weight ratio of 1.36 kgf and a thrust of 18,000 kgf in afterburner.
