The Rosel holding (part of Rostec) has developed a new radio interference module for mobile electronic warfare (EW) systems. The complex generates interference in specified frequency ranges and allows suppressing control, telemetry, and video signal transmission channels of various drones.
The module is made in the form of separate functional blocks, it can be installed on various platforms — from mobile EW stations on a car chassis to stationary object protection systems.
The state corporation emphasized that the development allows increasing the capabilities of mobile EW systems and forming a reliable electronic warfare protection zone even without deep modernization.
In Russia, serious attention is paid to the development of anti-drone systems. Recently, footage of the new Lis-2 interceptor, which received the option of automatic target acquisition in the air, appeared online.
Tanks were also not ignored. In addition to EW operating on a wide range of bands, combat vehicles were offered to be protected by a special metal mesh in the upper projection against drones.
