The state will not allow PAO "Tupolev" to go bankrupt as a result of litigation with the company "Tatneft" for 11.7 billion rubles. This was stated by well-known practicing lawyer Pavel Tubaltsev.
According to him, the enterprise has strategic status and plays a very important role for the country.
This is still not the "Samolet" group, which asked for 5 billion from the budget. "Tupolev" is of special importance to the state and is entitled to claim subsidies and preferences.
The essence of the dispute between the companies lies in four Tu-214 aircraft that "Tupolev" did not deliver to "Tatneft" within the agreed time frame. At the hearing on February 16, it became known that the oil company had unilaterally terminated the contract for the transfer of the aircraft due to overly slow performance of the work.
Representatives of "Tupolev" in court stated the critical financial condition of the enterprise and asked to apply the provisions of the Civil Code on concluding an amicable agreement. As of March 7, 2026, the parties had not yet reached an agreement.
Let us recall that "Tupolev" is the manufacturer of the strategic missile carriers Tu-160 "White Swan", the lead enterprise of OAK's special and strategic aviation division.
