The fishing company Akros (part of the Norebo holding) has filed a new claim for 2.9 billion rubles against Severnaya Verf. The application was registered in the file cabinet of the Arbitration Court of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region.
This is the third multi-billion dollar lawsuit by Norebo's subsidiaries against the manufacturer in less than three months. The holding's financial claims against Severnaya Verf have reached 9.7 billion rubles.
In December 2025, the St. Petersburg Arbitration Court began considering a lawsuit by Roliz LLC against Severnaya Verf for 3.1 billion rubles. In January 2026, Murmansk Provincial Fleet JSC filed a lawsuit to recover 3.7 billion rubles.
The reason for the lawsuits was the missed deadlines for the construction of 10 trawler-processors of project 170701 under a contract for 38.4 billion rubles.
It should be reminded that Severnaya Verf is one of the largest shipbuilding enterprises in the country. The plant specializes in the construction of warships for the Russian Navy, as well as civilian vessels for various purposes.
The main products are modern multi-purpose ships, for example, frigates of project 22350 ("Admiral Gorshkov") and corvettes of projects 20380/20385. At the same time, Severnaya Verf finished 2024 with a record loss of 7.5 billion rubles.
