Ural Turbine Plant (UTZ) will build a new generation T-120 turbine for Ufa CHPP-2. The project is being implemented as part of the modernization of turbine unit No. 7, which is being carried out by the Bashkir Generating Company.

The updated equipment is scheduled to start supplying power to the wholesale electricity and capacity market from January 1, 2027.

The existing turbine unit No. 7 has been operating in the power system for about 46 years and has generated 32 billion kWh. The replacement will improve the energy and economic efficiency of the station, extend the life of components and ensure more reliable operation.

The new T-120 turbine is designed for improved fuel consumption. Reducing the specific consumption of standard fuel will reduce the burden on the environment and reduce emissions.

Ural Turbine Plant has been cooperating with BGK for a long time. 24 steam turbines have already been supplied for the region's stations. In addition to the T-120, the company manufactures the PT-60/75 turbine for Priufimskaya CHPP-4 and the PT-60 for Sterlitamak CHPP.
