Atommash will double output of equipment for NPP turbine halls

Production growth is planned through new sets for El Dabaa and the Leningrad Nuclear Power Plant

Atommash, a machine-building giant within the Rosatom division, is preparing for a significant expansion of production in the coming year. According to information from the enterprise's press service, the volume of manufacturing components for the turbine halls of nuclear power plants may increase by approximately two times.

As plant representatives explained, this growth will become possible thanks to the launch of production of equipment sets for the fourth power unit of the El Dabaa NPP in Egypt and the third unit of Leningrad NPP-2. The projects will allow the production lines to be loaded with additional orders, optimizing the use of existing capacities in Volgodonsk, Rostov Region.

Rosatom's machine-building division acts as a key supplier not only for reactor compartments and turbine halls of Russian-designed nuclear power plants, but also for other high-tech industries.

The expansion is in line with Rosatom's strategy to strengthen its position in the global nuclear energy market, where demand for reliable equipment for nuclear power plants remains high despite geopolitical challenges.
