United Engine Corporation (ODK) does not rule out that assembly of the TV7-117ST-01 turboprop engine for the Il-114-300 regional aircraft could be launched in India. This was stated by ODK's Head of Sales for Civil Aviation Engines, Ekaterina Rukhlova.
According to her, such a possibility is a subject of commercial negotiations between the Russian and Indian sides.
We are ready to discuss not only the placement of repair facilities in India, but also the production of engine parts and the engine as a whole.
The Il-114-300 with TV7-117ST-01 engines has already passed flight certification tests in 2025. Experimental powerplants accumulated almost 3,000 hours in more than 400 flights.
The TV7-117ST-01 develops 3,100 hp at takeoff, while the AV112-114 propeller provides thrust of up to 4 tons. In many technical parameters, the powerplant surpasses foreign counterparts.
