PJSC Yakovlev may head the civil aviation segment of PJSC Tupolev, the Ilyushin bureau, and the Beriev plant in Taganrog. The publication Realnoe Vremya reported on the reasons and consequences of this decision by the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC).
According to a source, the reorganization is aimed at optimizing management expenses. UAC plans to "remove" duplicate management structures that "hung" over production enterprises.
The reduction may affect several hundred employees. As a result, managing directors on the ground will be freer in making decisions.
The publication Business Online clarified that the endowment of factories with the status of legal entities and their further independence is not yet under discussion — they will remain a production unit and branches.
