The "Russian Marine Team" tested the remotely operated unmanned underwater vehicle (ROV) of the light class "Okean.TNPA-Light" in the pool of the engineering company "Fertoing" in the Leningrad region. This was reported in the press service of the development company.
"Okean.TNPA-Light" is designed for:
- search operations
- measuring parameters of the aquatic environment
- filming at depths up to 400 m
The underwater vehicle was assembled at the end of November. After that, the developers eliminated the comments of supervisors from "Fertoing."
We improved telemetry in the pilot interface, refined the functionality of the tilting device of cameras and lamps.
Specialists tested "Okean.TNPA-Light" in various modes, conducted tests simulating the performance of underwater technical work. As a result of the tests, the characteristics laid down by the engineers were confirmed.
