Employees of the Chelyabinsk "ChTZ-Uraltrak" (part of Uralvagonzavod) are helping students from the South Ural State University to master practical skills in assembling and disassembling engines. Under the guidance of ChTZ technologists, future engine builders have begun assembling and disassembling a full-scale engine model.
This form of work immediately confirmed its effectiveness — from theory to the ability to study the details of the engine, their location, and features of operation.
Nikolai Yakovlev, HR Director of "ChTZ-Uraltrak," explained that the involvement of students is due to the demands of the times — the country needs qualified specialists. The founder of the "Internal Combustion Engines" direction was the chief engine designer of ChTZ, Ivan Trashutin.
Today we need new "Trashutins" to create promising diesel engines. For the students themselves, this training is a unique opportunity to gain knowledge about the product directly from the specialists of the manufacturing plant.
"ChTZ-Uraltrak" is part of the Uralvagonzavod Concern of Rostec, the main manufacturer of tanks in Russia, including the T-90M "Proryv", T-80BVM, and T-72B3M. The company is a leading Russian manufacturer of industrial special equipment and diesel engines.
