The import substitution of foreign equipment at the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant is proceeding according to plan. This was announced by the director of ZNPP, Yuri Chernichuk.
In terms of foreign-made equipment, the transition to domestic products is also underway; we are replacing what needs to be replaced.
According to Yuri Chernichuk, the plant is carrying out a number of measures to put it into generation mode. These include the modernization and licensing of equipment, personnel training, and preparation for supplying the plant with water.
One of the main tasks is to maintain the plant in a safe, technically sound condition.
To date, all six power units of the ZNPP have been transferred to the "cold shutdown" mode. Currently, the plant is not generating energy. However, a comprehensive plan for the commissioning of the ZNPP has already been formed.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that the Zaporozhye NPP received a license from Rostekhnadzor to operate power unit No. 1.
