The crews of the diesel-electric submarine "Ufa" (Project 636.3 "Varshavyanka") and the nuclear-powered guided missile submarine cruiser "Krasnoyarsk" (Project 885M "Yasen-M") were recognized as the best in tactical training. This was reported by the press service of the Pacific Fleet.
The sailors' achievements were honored at a commemorative event dedicated to the 121st anniversary of the establishment of the Submarine Forces of the Pacific Fleet, which took place in Vladivostok.
During the ceremonial rally, brief results of 2025 were summed up.
The fleet leadership noted the entry into service with the Russian Navy of the sixth diesel-electric submarine "Yakutsk" (Project 636.3 "Varshavyanka"). The submarine joined the other boats of the series: "Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky", "Volkhov", "Magadan", "Ufa", and "Mozhaisk".
The Pacific Fleet is currently armed with nuclear and diesel submarines carrying intercontinental ballistic missiles, as well as high-precision cruise missiles. Powerful armament helps sailors defend Russia's distant frontiers.
