The ships of the Primorsky Flotilla of Mixed Forces of the Pacific Fleet - the corvettes "Sovershennyy" and "Hero of the Russian Federation Aldar Tsydenzhapov" - practiced searching for and destroying a submarine of a mock enemy at one of the training grounds in the Sea of Japan.
During the exercises, a ship strike group, together with naval aviation aircraft, discovered a "submarine intruder" in the territorial waters of the Russian Federation. The corvette crews organized a pursuit and forced the enemy submarine to surface.
Combat crews simultaneously attacked the submarine using the "Paket" anti-submarine torpedo complex and carried out practical torpedo launches at an underwater object. The role of the mock enemy's submarine was played by one of the submarines of the Pacific Fleet.
Technical characteristics of Project 20380 corvettes:
- Displacement: standard - 1800 tons, full - 2250 tons.
