Now it will also feed: Wildberries launches express delivery of goods and food

The Wildberries marketplace has introduced a new feature — express delivery, which allows you to receive food, ready-made meals, medicines, flowers and everyday goods within one to four hours. At the moment, the service is only available in the mobile application.

A special feature of express delivery is a personalized showcase of goods, formed on the basis of the specified courier delivery address. The system shows only those sellers and goods that can provide delivery in a specific geography. The user immediately sees sections by category, promotional selections and separate shelves with offers from partners working in the format of \"self-pickup\" or express delivery.

The service operates according to two schemes: delivery to the door and self-pickup from the nearest offline point. In the case of self-pickup, the buyer can pick up the order at a convenient time. For \"door-to-door\" delivery, it is necessary to form a separate basket for each seller with the possibility of specifying the minimum order amount.

At the time of launch, express delivery is operating in test mode. Major players in the retail market and delivery services have already joined the service, but the timing of scaling, restrictions on cities and the number of participants have not yet been disclosed. Representatives of Wildberries note that they are analyzing user scenarios and the operation of the storefront.

Competition in the express delivery market in Russia is high. The main players are \"Kuper\" (Sberbank ecosystem), \"Yandex Food\" and \"Samokat\" (also Sberbank). The latter two specialize in the delivery of ready-made food, and \"Kuper\" allows you to order everyday goods from offline stores.
