The Russian military has received a batch of special cartridges and smooth-bore rifles designed to destroy drones. This was announced by the First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council, Vladimir Yakushev.

It is noted that the request for weapons came directly from the soldiers themselves. The characteristics of the special cartridges are not specified.
It is worth recalling that several types of small arms ammunition have already been created in Russia to combat drones, including unified with the Kalashnikov assault rifle caliber.
The new cartridges are many times more effective compared to standard ones due to the fact that instead of a bullet, shot is placed in a special way in it. It is enough to simply attach a magazine loaded with special cartridges to the "Kalash" and strike the "bird".
