Special anti-drone rounds have been developed for the Russian military. The ammunition is unified for use with the Kalashnikov assault rifle.
The new rounds are many times more effective compared to standard ones because, instead of a bullet, they contain specially arranged shot. In the future, new anti-drone rounds will become an integral part of every soldier's wearable combat kit.
Now, soldiers do not need to carry an additional anti-drone electronic warfare gun or a "smoothbore" shotgun. It is enough to simply attach a magazine loaded with special rounds to the "Kalash" and hit the "bird."
