At the recent industry event, the V Congress of Young Scientists, which took place from November 26 to 28, 2025, on the federal territory of Sirius, the General Director of the State Research Institute of Aviation Systems (GosNIIAS), Sergei Vladimirovich Khokhlov, stated that the evolution of aviation equipment control systems has entered a new phase — the stage of "intellectualization." According to him, the key driver of this process is end-to-end technologies that allow not only to automate, but also to endow onboard and ground systems with elements of autonomous decision-making.
The Institute of Aviation Systems is a scientific core in the field of intelligent aviation technologies. And despite the fact that our scientists are exploring the possibilities of introducing new technical solutions for the long term, there is already a reserve of technologies that can be implemented in the near future.
The Institute is actively developing areas related to artificial intelligence, digital twins, adaptive control systems, and complex real-time data processing. These technologies are designed not only to reduce the load on the crew, but also to prevent critical situations by predicting and automatically responding to potential threats.
