At the Lyudinovo Locomotive Plant (part of the Sinara Group), the final stage of testing of the modernized TEM10 shunting locomotive has been completed. This was reported in the press service of the machine-building holding.
The tests confirmed all the technical and environmental performance indicators of the power plant, the functionality of the microprocessor control and diagnostic system, as well as the ergonomics of the updated driver's cab.
The locomotive received a domestic KamAZ diesel engine model З910.80-600 with a capacity of 750 hp. The next step is to obtain a TR TS certificate of conformity, after which the locomotive will be ready for delivery.
The new TEM10 is a modern four-axle shunting locomotive developed taking into account global trends. Among its key advantages:
- Built-in microprocessor control and diagnostic system.
- Modernized ergonomic driver's cab.
- Modular design and durable welded frame.
Earlier www1.ru reported that tests of the unmanned TEM23 locomotive will start in the fall of 2025.
