UAC, together with aviation and leasing companies, is developing a financial model for the operation of the Il-114-300 regional aircraft. This was announced by the Deputy Head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Gennady Abramenkov.
According to him, the aircraft is in demand among Russian carriers who plan to use it on routes in the Far East, Siberia, and the Northern regions, where there are restrictions on airfield infrastructure and severe climatic conditions.
Currently, a contract has been signed for the supply of three Il-114-300s in 2026.
It is necessary to take into account the real financial capabilities of airlines. In this regard, UAC, together with aviation and leasing structures, is working out a financial model for the operation of the aircraft, and is also collecting data on the acceptable level of leasing payments from potential customers.
Minister of Industry and Trade Anton Alikhanov stated that the first three aircraft will cost 4 billion rubles each, and subsequent copies, thanks to repricing, will cost approximately 2.6 billion rubles.
