The manufacturer of PD-8 and SaM146 aircraft engines, "ODK-Saturn" (part of the United Engine Corporation of Rostec), has implemented new approaches to production organization and project management.
Process modernization allows accelerating production, improving assembly quality and reducing costs at all stages of production.
Evgeny Alekseev, Director of Digital Transformation at "ODK-Saturn", noted that fellow aircraft manufacturers face similar requirements and processes.
As part of the updated strategy, ODK-Saturn specialists also strengthened control over the life cycle of engines and introduced digital tools for planning and monitoring projects. This ensures more accurate adherence to deadlines, improves coordination between departments and facilitates rapid response to changes in market requirements.
Earlier www1.ru reported that production sites for components of the SJ-100 aircraft will be created in the Khabarovsk Territory.
